Chai Tea.

This is a classic spiced tea, typical of India.

It usually has anise, cinnamon, cloves, ginger based on black tea.

There are many varieties with different ingredients, some as different as nutmeg, pepper, etc.

English Breakfast.

This tea is the number one consumed with milk.

It is the tea that is usually used for breakfast because it is stronger than others.

It is usually made by mixing Assam Tea.

Depending on wanting a stronger or less strong tea, more or less milk is usually added.

It’s also classic to take it with sugar.

Matcha Tea.

Tea Latte Recipes.

CHAI TEA LATTE STARBUCKS. (COPYCAT)

Ingredients
For two cups.

350 ml of water.
1 tablespoon full of Assam black tea.
100 ml milk.
10 cardamom pods.
3 tablespoons sugar.
4 black peppercorns.
1 cinnamon stick.
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger coffee.
1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds.
Cinnamon and nutmeg powder for garnish.

Preparation.

Swell cinnamon, peppercorns, fennel seeds, and cardamom into a mortar and grind until small pieces are obtained.

Put half the milk in a pot along with the water.

Add the ginger and spices you worked with the mortar into the pot, as well as the sugar.

Boil and cook for 7 minutes.

Remove the pot from the heat and when the temperature drops to 95oC, infuses the black tea.

Let stand for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your taste.

Whisk the milk with the help of a hand blender until you get a soft white foam.

Strain the tea and serve in a high cup of clear glass

Fill the cup with milk foam.

Garnish with cinnamon and nutmeg powder.

MATCHA TEA LATTE.

Ingredients  (1 person):

200ml water.
150ml milk or vegetable milk.
1 small spoon matcha.
1 small spoon of sweetener (sugar, honey, stevia…)

Preparation time: 10 min.

Heat the water and turn it off when it is about to boil.

Dilute the green tea in the hot water and separate it into a large glass or cup.

TIP: The best way to undo green tea without clumping is to use a bamboo whisk as the Japanese do.

Heat the milk in a pot and dilute the sugar or honey (or other product chosen to sweeten) and foam with a rod or milk whisk.

Add the foamed milk to the cup with the Matcha green tea.

BUBBLE TEA.

Ingredients.

Milk and bubble bubbles.

Black tea bags.

Chewable tapioca or Boba beads.

Almond cream or milk.

Honey or stevia (avoid refined sugar).

Preparation.

The black tea is prepared and left to rest, you add the cream or almond milk along with the honey or stevia, finally, add the pearls and you are ready to enjoy!

GREEN TEA WITH COCONUT MILK.

Ingredients.

Water.
Honey or stevia (avoid refined sugar).

Coconut milk or milk.

Lemon juice.

Fresh mint leaves.

Green tea bags (you can also use matcha green tea).

Preparation.

Prepare the tea and let stand for 5 minutes, then add the lemon, coconut milk, and honey or stevia to taste, let cool completely, finally add the mint leaves.

If you want it creamy, put it in the freezer in a metal fountain, and when the edges have been frozen the blender is applied.

You can repeat this 3 to 4 times to serve creamy with fresh mint leaves.

ICED MATCHA LATTE.

Ingredients  (1 person):

200ml water.
150ml milk or vegetable milk.
1 small spoon matcha.
1 small spoon of sweetener (sugar, honey, stevia…)

Preparation.

Mix it with 20 ml of water with the help of Chasen and when it is already diluted and  sparkling wine, add 175 ml of natural or cold water and 3 large ice cubes and shake it all together.

To shake it, I do is mix it as it is always done in the Chawan or a bowl, but then I pour this into a typical jug of smoothie with its lid and hole for the straw.

Then I add the rest of the water and the cubes, cover with one finger the opening of the straw, and shake well.

When I want it very cold I leave the jug 10-15 minutes in the freezer, then shake well and drink it.
