300 ml of hot water.
700 ml of cold water.
4 or 5 bags of black tea.
1 lemon.
100 ml honey.

How to make it.

Making iced tea at home turns out to be like making any other tea, the only difference being that it gets cold and a touch of lemon is added.

Although if you’re in a hurry (and want the tea to cool down sooner) you can follow these steps.

Let’s infuse tea and lemon peel.

We infuse 4 or 5 bags of black tea (depending on the intensity we like or its size) and two strips of lemon peel in 300 ml of water depending on the temperature and time indicated in the box.

It is important that the lemon strips do not have a white part or will end up bittering the drink.

Once infused, remove the tea bags and lemon peel.

Next, add the rest of the cold water and a few slices of lemon.

When you have finished infusing we will have a concentrated of hot tea that we will then lower and cool at the same time adding the remaining 700 ml of cold water.

Next, cut a few slices of lemon and add them into a jug along with tea and sugar or honey.

Then store it in the fridge for a couple of hours to keep it cool.
